Back to Civilization...
We left Williams Lake enroute to Maple Grove RV Resort in Randle, WA. Our highway of choice was HWY 12 through White Pass...there was still snow! The ride was rough, so this highway becomes one on the list of roads we will NOT travel in the near future. As you look at the struggling 18-wheeler coming up White Pass; you can't see us starting our trek down the pass. Back to Williams Lake. The RV Parks was called Klink's...and there is definately more to talk about...Sharon

Ponderosa Falls RV Resort-Cheney, WA
We are enjoying Ponderosa Falls RV Resort in Cheney, WA. Tomorrow is the day we leave enroute to Clink's, also in Cheney. The stay at Ponderosa Falls was wonderful, the weather delightful and the relaxation much needed. Kathie and Allen joined us on Thursday and we will part on Monday, June 27th. Plus, we were surprised by a visit from Pam and Michael Wallace from the Funseekers RV Club. They just happened to show up for the 3 on 1 basketball event in Spokane this weekend. We spent the evening talking around a fire and remembering days ago. We met another great couple from the tri-cities...Doug and Alice. With a little luck, our paths will cross in the future. A change of plans will take us to Clink's on Williams Lake on Saturday and then on to Randle. Reception for the next two days is out of the question, so I will sign on again early next week. Life is very good and we have been blessed beyond belief or understanding. Take care.

GRAND COULEE DAM!
Today Larry and I went on a 60 mile trip to Grand Coulee Dam. First, we wanted to see the Dam and our second reason was to visit the different RV sites. All the sites visited (Grand Coulee RV Park, Coulee Playland, Kings RV Park...etc...) did not match the pictures. Their websites presented a level "5" facility; however, the "real" things was closer to a "1" or "2". The Dam was worth the visit. This is just one picture of many we took at the Dam. I almost forgot...the temperature today is 85. I'm outside relaxing and enjoying a very beautiful day.

Our First Stop
We can't remember the last time we were able to rest...and sleep. Today was relaxing. Larry and I spent much of the day in Spokane. We even found a "Wally World", in North Spokane, only to find one within 5 miles of the Ponderosa Fall resort in Cheney...go figure. (smile) After our adventure, we broke out the grill for dinner. We spent some time with neighbors, Doug and Alice, that we met today.
Tomorrow we plan to go to Grand Coulee Dam for the day! Take care.
